Actually, I did some online research. What these clips are from is the EARLY 'rushes'(daily screening at end of day of footage that has been shot on the film for that day) of the project. While these ARE from the cutting room floor(you won't see this EXACT footage in the film) The actors, special effects, soundtrack, ALL the credits, The FEEL of it, the grittiness, All of that IS 100% genuine. This is the ACTUAL set, the real footage. Yes, its from the cutting room floor, but it gives you an accurate, detailed picture into what the movie IS going to look and feel like.
I was under the impression that the Halo movie had been canned. Also, that was so crap looking that if the movie is anything like that I will not be watching it. Better effects could be created by a 15 year old kid with an Apple computer and some basic software.
